Rooftop solar for
commercial buildings.

Offices, showrooms, hospitals, schools and shopping centres use most of their electricity during daytime hours, which is when a rooftop system produces.

Why solar fits
commercial buildings.

Daytime demand

Air conditioning and lighting drive most commercial electricity use, and both peak during working hours.

Common-area savings

Even a modest system can cover shared loads such as lifts, water pumps and corridor lighting.

A visible commitment

Tenants, patients, students and customers can see that the building takes energy seriously.

What we check
on a commercial roof.

Commercial roofs in Dhaka are rarely empty. The survey starts with what space is genuinely available.

Usable roof area

We map water tanks, lift machine rooms, AC condensers, access routes and any planned future use of the roof.

Raised structures

Where equipment covers the roof, panels can sit on a raised frame above it, keeping the roof usable underneath.

Height and wind

Taller buildings face stronger wind. Frames and fixings are designed for the building’s height and exposure.

Meters and connection

Buildings with a common-area meter and separate tenant meters need a clear plan for which loads solar will serve.

Owner and association consent

If the building has several owners or an owners’ association, their agreement is part of the plan from the start.

From a conversation
to a working solar system.

Listen & review

Share your site, electricity use and what you want solar to achieve for your business.

Survey & design

Assess the rooftop and develop a system plan around the site’s conditions.

Propose & agree

Review the equipment, installation scope, cost assumptions, warranties and support arrangements.

Install & support

Complete the agreed installation and handover, with a clear route to after-sales support.

Common
questions.

We rent the building. Can we still install solar?

Yes, with the owner’s consent. The proposal can be prepared so the owner can review the roof use, responsibilities and handover terms.

Our roof is small. Is it worth it?

Often yes, if the system is sized to a specific load such as lifts, pumps or common-area lighting. The survey shows what the roof can realistically supply.

Can we still use the roof after installation?

With a raised structure, much of the roof can stay usable for tanks, equipment and access.

What should we prepare for the first conversation?

Recent electricity bills (ideally the last 12 months), your sanctioned load, the site address and, if you have them, roof or building drawings. Photos of the roof also help.
